Detailed Description:
Sandra's nativity set is an interpretation of the traditional crèche of the Bedouin countryside. Her work in high-fired pottery is distinguished by textured surfaces, matte finishes, and natural colors. There are twelve hand-sculpted figures in this collection. They range in size from the 3 ½ inch high camel to 1 ¼ inch high Child in the manger. The shelter measures 12 inches tall, including the applied star and angel at the roof's peak.
