Red Screech Owl

Ellen grows and processes all of the natural materials needed to create her woven and gourd art forms. From small, hand-painted owls, to large gourd baskets, her work is subtle, but exquisite. She uses plain weave, twill and herringbone weave-structures, among others in her baskets. Her gourds are cleaned and sealed with lacquer.
