Combining a love of the outdoors, being cozy, and a desire to reduce and reuse, DeeCee started making hats and mittens from upcycled (used!) wool sweaters. (This started as a way to raise money to help with a family member’s adoption expenses – now a family filled with happy kids.) The sweaters are washed and dried in high heat – then they’re ready to make cozy wool hats and mittens for you!
