A retired science educator, Doris now excels in pottery handbuilding techniques; the making of clay flutes perfectly combines her life-long interests in music, art, & engineering. Each flute has a unique tone quality. Not only are they perfectly pitched musical instruments, but they are also beautiful pieces of sculpture; truly a multi-media artistic expression! Low-fire, red earthenware or talc-free white earth; all are lead-free.
