Sean Ponder
Sean Ponder is drawn to clay due to its basic elemental nature, tactile qualities and the processes involved: water and earth can be formed and through the process of firing become forms that are both functional and artistic.
His works include beautiful vases, bottles, cups and bowls. A special micaceous clay is used in his line of cook ware. The pots are pit fired and can be used like any other cook ware on top of the stove or in the oven.
