Tom Zeller
Tom dabbled with woodturning in high school but took it up in earnest years later. Tom likes the challenge of designing to use the defects found in wood and to enhance the wood’s natural beauty. He adds texture to rims of platters and the inside of containers to make each one unique. He inscribes the type of wood on the bottom of each piece. Working with wood reminds him of his grandfather and the smell of different woods triggers good memories.
