Serve and cut a long French baguette on the long version of this board. For a boule, choose the short variety. Both of Hans' "French cutting boards" come in either of his favorite native woods, walnut, cherry, or maple. Finished with food-safe oils, it can be washed with mild soap and water and renewed when necessary by applying a light coat of vegetable oil which should be allowed to soak in for a while and wiped with a clean cloth or paper towel. Never place in a dishwasher!
