Maple & Cherry Box

The contoured lines of this beautiful box are simple, yet elegant. The richly figured cherry lid complements maple sides, handle, and inlay. Inside, there is a soft, brown velvet-like material to protect any special object you care to rest there.

The finish is pre-catalyzed lacquer, commercial grade, like that used on fine furniture. Bob applies two coats of lacquer, hand-sanding between each coat. The process provides a very durable finish which will last for years and years.
